“ We ate here during our visit to Halloween Town. Fun tavern, fantastic food (worth the drive from Woodland) and good drinks! The bacon wrapped shrimp, brussel sprouts, and garlic fries did not disappoint. The star of the table was the beef stroganoff! Can't wait to go back! ”
“ Went here for a nice dinner date and boy was it delicious. We used to come here before the remodel and are so happy to able to come back and see how great this place has become. Everything we had was outstanding. The plum-barbecue sauce for the fried cauliflower was a perfect combination of sweet and savory, paired really well with the fried cauliflower. The drinks were just perfect. We started with a Manhattan and the Gimlet, then for dessert had the Sazerac and The Last Word. For dinner, we had the Fried Chicken and the Pork Chop. Both were superb, and made perfectly. All the sides they each came with married well with each other. For dessert, the cheesecake, was to die for. We will definitely be coming back! ”
“ This restaurant is INCREDIBLE!!! Who ever runs this show is On It My Fiance and I went here for drinks and food for a date night and we could not be more happy with how it turned out! I got the Klondike Bar Martini, my fiance got the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned! These were Beautifully made hand crafted cocktails! Our server was so attentive and made sure we had everything we need! For dinner we had the steak over a bead of veggies (absolutely delicious ) and that Cauliflower Soup is TO DIE FOR!! someone recommended the Squash Grilled Cheese to dip in the soup, GENIUS!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Klondike for such a fantastic evening ”
“ The cocktails are INCREDIBLE!! The food is just as amazing!!! Pictured here is the scrumptious Blackberry Lemon Drop and The Melt (other half was already devoured). Kim the Leader of this restaurant is attentive, sweet, goes the extra mile. James is equally at attentive and kind! MUST TRY! ”
“ This restaurant was spectacular! Firstly, a meal out is made it broken by the server, that being said James made me feel at home and like a long lost friend. He was attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, and the history of the location, including the haunting! So honestly, they had me locked in with a choice and favorite beer on tap, Old Rasputin Russian Stout, on Nitro! I looked at the appetizers and almost ordered, but then I saw the dessert and dessert cocktail menu. Nope, I was saving room. I had the Short Ribs served over Lemon, Pea Rissoto. The Rissoto was cooked to perfection, just the right amount of everything, the perfect toothiness, just a hint of lemon, but the Short Ribs were pure bliss, fork tender, full of flavor, if I had room I would have ordered another plate! For dessert, I choose the Milk Dud Old Fashioned, feeling like an affectionado of Old Fashionds (I usually go extra extra bitter, no a little more bitters, please) this was perfect and a not so sweet treat! Out of 10, they get a solid 20! ”
“ Visited for a private function, and the food, drinks and service were top notch! Thank you for an amazing night! The ghost berry martini....YUM! ”
“ This place is magical! We came here for our anniversary a few weeks ago and we had the best time. The staff were extra thoughtful and took the time to make sure we felt welcome. The food was delicious, highly recommend the pork cheeks or the beef tenderloin. The specialty cocktails are top notch. Can’t go wrong with any of them. We tried three different cocktails. We had just a great time we came back for Halloween Town! A magical and haunting experience. This place is haunted, ask the staff about the haunting! ”
“ Five stars isn’t enough for The Klondike Tavern! I had the most wonderful experience here. The staff is truly exceptional—so considerate, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s rare to find a team this attentive and passionate about what they do. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was not only delicious but beautifully plated—true culinary art. The craft cocktails and mocktails were next level—gorgeous, thoughtfully crafted, and somehow tasted even better than they looked (which is saying something, because they looked straight out of a magazine!). The ambiance is stunning. The decor is elegant and perfectly complements the charm of the historic building. There’s something truly special about the atmosphere—it’s enchanting and just a little haunting, in the most intriguing way. It’s 100% worth the drive from Portland or Vancouver to dine here. Whether for a special occasion or just to treat yourself, this place delivers an elevated dining experience that you won’t forget. I’ll absolutely be recommending The Klondike Tavern to everyone I know—and I’ll be making a special trip back myself very soon! ”
